Worshipping through music and song is an important aspect of our worship gatherings here at PSBC. As such, we desire to faithfully honor God in this area. Making much of God is our focus even in singing; we strive to engage mind and emotions in declaring our love to God as we sing to him.
While many styles and approaches to worshipping in song and music exist that allow such worship to transpire, we aim to employ a “modern-traditional” approach. This approach allows us to draw from the past and present, offering a multi-generational appeal. Song types included in this “modern-traditional” approach are familiar hymns, contemporary songs, and choir/special music selections that are theologically sound, God-centered, and gospel focused.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
We have a variety of opportunities for all ages and abilities, so you can participate in an area that’s the best fit for you.
