MINISTRIES AT POPLAR SPRINGS

PSBC KIDS

PSBC STUDENTS
PSBC Students exist to share with our students the gospel of Jesus Christ, ground them in their faith, and help them fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples of Jesus Christ. We invest in the lives of our students by offering a variety of opportunities for them to grow in their faith and share it with others. Small group classes meet on Sundays at 9:45am and we meet on Wednesdays at 7:00pm for worship and Bible study.

R.A.F. – SENIORS
The R.A.F. (Retired Adult Fellowship) is our primary senior adult ministry. The group meets usually on the second Tuesday of each month in our Fellowship hall for a variety of activities including: devotions, mission opportunities, games, guest speakers, and meals. Several times throughout the year the RAF plans local and overnight outings. Stay connected to this group by clicking here to follow them on their Facebook page.

SMALL GROUPS

MISSIONS
Missions is a main focus of ministry at Poplar Springs. We believe the Great Commission calls us to reach our neighbors and the nations for Jesus Christ. In seeking to fulfill the Great Commission we follow the Acts 1:8 paradigm that Jesus gave in taking the gospel locally, nationally, and internationally.

MUSIC
Worshipping through music and song is an important aspect of our corporate times of worship at PSBC. As such, we desire to faithfully honor God in this area of our worship. Making much of God is our focus even in singing; we strive to engage mind and emotions in declaring our love to God as we sing to Him.

MEN’S & WOMEN’S MINISTRIES

GOSPEL JAM
The “Gospel Jam” is a long standing local tradition of stringed instrument musicians, singers, and listeners who gather for a relaxed evening of music and fellowship on the second Friday night of each month at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. All are invited to participate by playing, singing, or simply clapping along.
